Frequently asked questions
What materials is the Obasan Deluxe Dunlop Latex Mattress made from and how does that help daily use?
It features a 4" base layer (medium or firm), a 3-zone Dunlop latex core, a 2" soft top, and a 2.5" organic Dunlop latex and wool topper, all inside an organic cotton cover quilted with wool. Individually wrapped layers reduce friction and movement transfer for stable, balanced support and breathable comfort.
How does this mattress differ from a typical latex mattress?
It combines multiple customizable layers (base, 3-zone core, top, and topper) with organic Dunlop latex and wool, plus an organic cotton cover. Side-by-side customization in queen and king sizes allows different firmness on each side.
What sizes and customization options are available?
Queen and King sizes are offered, with side-by-side customization to match different sleep preferences on each side. The base can be medium or firm, supported by the 3-zone core.
What should I know as a first-time buyer?
The mattress provides a breathable, temperature-regulated surface thanks to wool, with modular, individually wrapped layers that help minimize movement transfer for couples and varied comfort needs.
How should I care for this mattress and its cover?
The cover is organic cotton jersey quilted with wool. Follow standard care for natural covers and avoid washing components not meant to be washed; airing the mattress helps maintain freshness.
